    BSUF Scholarships

BSUF has entered into an agreement with the British Marshall Commission whereby one or more British Marshall Scholarships will be underwritten annually by BSUF’s Thomas E. Ward, Sr. and Richard E. & and Kathleen May Scholarship Funds.  The new arrangement, which replaces BSUF’s previous scholarship program, relieves the Foundation of a growing burden of administrative work and expense, so that all funds available for the program are received by scholars.

The British Marshall Scholarships were founded by a 1953 Act of Parliament to commemorate the humane ideals of the Marshall Plan.  They are administered in the U. K. by the Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission and in the U.S. by the British Embassy in Washington and five regional Consulates-General.

Further details of the British Marshall/Ward & May scholarship awards may be found on the following Web site:  www.marshallscholarship.org/applicationbsuf.html
